Fresh from NYC, this award winning one-woman show takes audiences’ on a field trip into the hearts and minds of 7-year-olds navigating their way through life and public school in NYC. Recess is Una’s impassioned response to her experiences attending, witnessing, and teaching in NYC schools. Get inspired by a piece that has been described in Vancouver’s Plank Magazine as “This is possibly the best show I have ever seen. Ever.,” by The Montreal Gazzette as “a tour-de-force,” and given five (out of five) stars by Toronto’s Eyeweekly.

Una Aya Osato (writer/performer) was born and raised in NYC, where she works as a performer, writer and educator. She has performed Recess nationally and internationally for thousands of people in theaters, classrooms, community organizations, college campuses, and prisons.
