You are invited to a fun movie screening to help save the Gulf! With comedy sketches, beautiful nature scenes from the Gulf, and commentary on the BP drilling disaster, this series of shorts are entertaining and educational.
After the film, take action with the Gulf Restoration Network to help restore and protect the Gulf of Mexico region and discuss our local water quality issues, Green Philly plus a seafood tale or two.

Screening of 'Defend the Gulf' 1-year after the BP Oil Spill, doors 7p and start 8p!
The Gulf Restoration Network is committed to uniting and empowering people to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf Region.
A WPEB supporter, Basin Street Records is providing a copy of their new sampler featuring Kermit Ruffins, Irvin Mayfield, Dr. Michael White & other amazing New Orleans artists. They will include one in every event package.
Each screening of 'Defend the Gulf' will help educate people around the country about the on-going issues facing the Gulf's communities and ecosystems. We need Congress to act NOW to ensure that the Gulf coast is protected and restored. That will only happen if they hear from a unified voice of people from across our Nation.
